Project Eighty Two: A Lined Boxy Pouch for my Sister

August 31, 2011

This morning I made this little boxy pouch as a gift for my youngest sister, using this tutorial from Projects by Jane (her blog is brilliant and her tutorials never fail, I highly recommend a visit). I decided to combine a striped blue fabric with a red dotty lining, a combination that is always pleasing. I love this design because it has no unsightly raw edges and seams, I think all bags and purses should be lined on the inside in this way.

I am going to adapt the dimensions of this pouch to make it into a pencil-case, it is a great design for a nice roomy pencil-case, just in time for the new academic year.

I love the bag. I think I might have to make one for myself.
