Project Forty One: A Holiday Money Bag for The Boy

April 18, 2011

We went to Spain for a holiday last week, and before we left the boy was given a large amount of other people’s left-over Euros from their trips to Europe. So many coins, in fact, that he couldn’t fit them into his Spider Man wallet. So I took the opportunity to quickly whip up a little zippered money bag with some scraps of fabric. I chose the ice cream fabric because the boy had already decided that this money was his ice cream fund! When we were in Spain he insisted on buying all the ice creams, not only for himself but for me too 🙂
