Project Thirty: Three more Bow Ties and a Birthday Party

March 13, 2011

It’s the boy’s birthday on monday, he’s going to be eight, and today he had a party with his friends. A very grown up party actually, a cinema trip with his three closest friends, and he wanted them all to wear bow ties, so on saturday I got to work and quickly rustled up three more bow ties, in fabrics selected by the boy. As well as going to the cinema we also had a pizza-making party back at the flat, which was great fun for the children. It’s sunday night now and I am exhausted, it’s been a busy weekend and I am coming down with a cold, but the boy had a great time with his friends and that’s the important thing.
