Project Twenty: A Lovely Little Girl’s Messenger Bag
February 23, 2011
The boy is invited to his friend Isabella’s party on Thursday, so I took the opportunity to make something pretty and girly for him to take. I had been waiting for the perfect excuse to use this lovely dotty floral fabric, and finally it came!
I’m loving the combination of baby blue and red, and polka dots are always nice, aren’t they?

She’s a VERY lucky girl and she will treasure such a unique and beautiful gift.
Thanks Sonia!
Girlie starts preschool in the fall so I am on the lookout for school bags I could make. Definitely bookmarking this one!
Sounds good. If you need a tutorial let me know.
I love this bag and the fabric you used. Is it your own pattern?
Hi embroiderycrazy, yes it is my own pattern, a very simple easy standard messenger bag pattern. You can probably find tutorials online with very similar pstterns if you are interested.
Very sweet, my girls would love this
